Customer procedures during COVID-19 pandemic

Before your visit

  • No employees or customers will be permitted on the premises if they have COVID-19 symptoms.
  • If you have any of the symptoms: fever, cough or shortness of breath please call to reschedule your appointment.
  • If you have been in close contact with a person who is ill with the coronavirus. Please do not make an appointment until you have quarantined for 14 days or have been cleared by the health department.
  • If you need to cancel your appointment, please call at least 24 hours in advance. Our waiting list has many customers that could take advantage of that appointment, but need time to make arrangements.
Check in procedures

Arrival information

  • At this time, guests will be served by appointment only. No walk-ins
  • When you arrive, please check-in at our foyer. You will be required to fill out a survey and have your temperature taken.
  • After you’ve been checked in you may then wait in your car, sit outside, or wait in our waiting room. Seats are spaced 6’ apart.
  • If you prefer, you may call us to check in. We can then come get you or text you when we are ready. Keep in mind it may take a couple minutes to complete our screening and check in procedure.
  • We are working on a mobile check-in procedure that will ask you to reply back with your phone number to verify your appointment. It's possibly you may be listed in our system twice, so you may get an error. If that happens just come up to the foyer and someone will get you checked in.
  • If there is already someone being helped in the foyer when you arrive, please observe the markings on the ground to remain socially distanced.
  • Everyone entering the salon will be required to wear a mask. Disposable masks will be available if you don’t have one.Michigan Executive Order 2020-114 (COVID-19) (June 5, 2020)
  • All Employees and customers must wear a mask. Unlike essential services, there are no exemptions to wearing a mask at non-essential services.
  • Employees and guests will receive a temperature check prior to entering the premises. If your temperature is over 100.3 degrees you will need to reschedule your appointment. Employees have their temperature checked when they arrive at work and will not be allowed to work if it’s over 100.3 degrees.
  • Guests will be asked to wash their hands or must use hand sanitizer upon entering the building.
  • The number of guests on premises will be limited to those customers with an appointment. 1 parent may accompany a minor dependent who has an appointment. A caregiver may accompany a person with an appointment.
  • Please leave all jackets, etc in your vehicle

Sanitation and in salon procedures

  • We have hired additional employees and have increased our sanitation schedules throughout the day
  • Doors and exits will be routinely sanitized.
  • All equipment used by a service provider and touched by a guest will be sanitized between guests.
  • Clean, sanitized capes, sheets, blankets, and towels will be kept in a closed container or cabinet until use.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation products have been placed at every station and room for easy access by employees in between customers.

Physical Barriers

  • Have been installed wherever 6 feet of separation is not possible.
  • If you receive a service that requires the removal of your mask, the service provider must put on a face shield or eye protection in addition to their mask.

Payment information

  • We have frozen our pricing at our 2019 levels, however, keep in mind for some services, such as hair color, may require additional color, which will cost more on this visit.
  • Credit card terminals will have a sanitizable pen, please use pens to press keys then place in the dirty bin. We will no longer require a signature.

COVID-19 affects different people in different ways. Infected people have had a wide range of symptoms reported – from mild symptoms to severe illness. Contact your doctor. Most health systems have COVID screeners. We can do our part to prevent the spread of illness in our community. You can help by staying home / rescheduling your appointment if you're feeling sick. Symptoms may appear 2-14 days
